LOAN CONTAINERS PROVIDE LOGISTICS BASE IN DADAAB FOR WORLD VISION

Two containers loaned by Advance Aid are being used in the Dadaab refugee camp as a logistics base.  The containers provide instant secure storage and, being insulated, also remain relatively cool.

World Vision has already distributed in the camp 2,000 emergency kits provided by Advance Aid and has plans to distribute more of its pre-positioned stock there in the coming weeks.

This is all part of the ‘Emergency Response from Africa, for Africa’ partnership between Advance Aid, World Vision and logistics partner, Agility.

Two more containers are about to be ‘grounded’ in Dadaab on loan to Catholic Relief Services (CRS).  CRS has already moved three container loads of plastic jerrycans supplied by Advance Aid to the camps and two more container loads are heading there this week.
